equipping the saints for the work of ministry – ephesians 4:12
The CCP (Chinese Communist Party) is the one-stop shop for any number of nightmarish scenarios.
Under the CCP’s ideology of unrestricted warfare, it creates economic ruin; perpetrates medical malpractice; sponsors technological theft; creates ecological disasters; inflicts religious persecution; inspires cultural co-opting; schemes global domination; generates political intrigue; and manufactures human rights horrors. The Indictment, by Frank Gaffney and Dede Laugesen, is based on a series of webinars in which all of these aspects of the CCP’s unrestricted warfare are addressed by experts.
I have known for decades about the Maoists in China and their horrific persecution of Christians. I have known about China’s brutal and callous “one child” or “two child” or even “three child” policy that has resulted in the murder of millions of unborn babies. I have come to know what the CCP has done to its captive nations – the concentration camps for the Uyghur of East Turkistan, the live organ harvesting of them, the Falun Gong, Christian prisoners, and others. I have heard from friends in Africa how the CCP is swallowing nation after nation. You may be well aware of all those things.
But most of us are not familiar with the concept of the Chinese Communists’ “unrestricted warfare” on America, even though it is taking place right under our noses. I know I would not know what this all meant if I were not a member of the Committee on the Present Danger: China (CPDC), the group that has sponsored the webinars. The Indictment warns about this “present danger,” saying:
In 1999, the mask Deng put into place to conceal the Chinese Communist Party’s true, malevolent purpose was allowed to slip a bit. Two senior colonels in the People’s Liberation Army–both of whom went on to become general officers–published a book entitled Unrestricted Warfare. It laid out in considerable detail China’s strategy for using “non-kinetic” means of waging war against our nation and what was then a far-superior U.S. military. . . . the cumulative impact of such warfare has been devastating for this country, especially given the help the CCP received from American elites in conducting it against us.
The Indictment, p. 12
The Indictment is currently Number 1 on Amazon’s Best Seller list for books on Communism and Socialism, and Number 2 on books on National and International Security. It is divided into three parts. The first, and longest, is a reading of the charges against the CCP. It includes nine chapters, each which is a separate charge against the Communist regime. Each of these nine charges is well-backed by facts, many of which were presented in the CPDC’s webinars:
After the disturbing and disheartening facts revealed in these charges, it is encouraging that Gaffney and Laugesen do not leave us helpless. The second part of the book consists of 20 action items to protect America and defeat the CCP. These action items are all common sense, actions that we should be taking already — or which we should have never been in the position to need to take. Most require standing up against America’s elites who care more about achieving personal wealth than they care about the safety and security and prosperity of their nation.
Here is just one example of an action that now must be taken and never should have been necessary: #10. Bar the Federal Thrift Savings Plan (TSP) from holding Chinese companies in its I-Fund or offering mutual funds that contain them via its Mutual Fund Window.
If you are a federal employee, active or retired, or a U.S. military veteran or active member, you may not even be aware that the Federal Retirement Thrift Investment Board is allowing your retirement funds to support CCP-owned and affiliated companies. This includes companies that are already sanctioned by the U.S. government for both national security and human rights issues. And it even includes companies that are building high-tech weapons systems that could one day be used to kill the very members of the U.S. armed forces who funded them!
Yesterday, May 22, Newsweek published an in-depth report on this very subject. The information exposed by investigative reporters Valerie Bauman and Didi Kirsten Tatlow in the article absolutely confirms what is conveyed in The Indictment.
The third part of the book is only three pages long, but within those three pages are the key to stopping the evil actions of the CCP and those with whom it colludes. All it takes is a citizenry bold and aware enough to take action. The Indictment ensures that you are aware. The back of the book is dedicated to QR codes to view every webinar that the Committee on the Present Danger: China has produced. If the book itself does not spur you to action, the combination of text and videos will leave you with no excuse.
I titled this article “Apathy Towards the CCP Will Kill US.” And so will cowardice. And so will the kind of religious spirit that says “leave it up to God,” when God is waiting for us to fight back, and to step into the Red Sea and watch Him part it. Read The Indictment to see how to fight back.
